Position: Functional Consultant
Reports to: Professional Services Manager
Location: Fully Remote (UK)
Salary: £50,000 - £57,500 per annum

Role Overview:

As a Functional Consultant, you will play a vital role in implementing SaaS solutions by configuring software to meet customer requirements. This position requires strong accounting, finance, or ERP solutions knowledge, technical aptitude, and outstanding customer-facing skills.

Functional Consultant (Accounting SaaS – Office of the CFO) - Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional front-line service to customers.
• Collaborate with project delivery, support, and product teams.
• Manage system configuration, build workshops, user acceptance testing support, data migration, and go-live support.
• Configure software according to approved designs and customer requirements.
• Identify project risks and guide customers on best practices.
• Maintain accurate project records and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
• Manage time effectively to balance multiple projects and set clear expectations with stakeholders.

Functional Consultant (Accounting SaaS – Office of the CFO) - Skills and Experience:

• Experience implementing SaaS finance software or ERP solutions.
• Accounting or finance qualification.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects.
